The Budweiser Conservation Scholarship was launched in the fall of 2000 with its first awards made in 2001 to promote innovative research to respond to the most pressing conservation issues in the United States. Between 2001 and 2007, the Budweiser Conservation Scholarship Program supported 96 scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students who were identified with the potential to make a significant contribution to the field of conservation.
