Keystone Initatives
Keystone
Initiatives represent a core portfolio of
select multi-year initiatives through which the Foundation and its
partners seek to achieve measurable conservation outcomes. Each initiative involves
setting specific goals and strategies with ongoing evaluation of
outcomes and refinement of the objectives or approaches to be
taken. The Foundation will take a
proactive role to identify grantees, evaluate best practices and
innovative solutions proposed by grantees, and work with grantees or
groups of grantees to assure the collective results achieve the
Foundation’s and its partners objectives in “moving the
needle.”
The Foundation has
established funding priorities under each of the following
Keystone
Initiatives. View each of
the Keystone Initiatives listed below to learn more about the
Foundation’s objectives for each initiative and funding
priorities. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to contact
the Initiative Lead prior to submitting a pre-proposal to discuss the
applicability of a project to the Foundation’s
priorities.
