Resources for Applicants and Grantees
This Resource Clearinghouse is designed to assist
prospective applicants prepare the most competitive applications
possible by integrating the best available online information on a
variety of topics, including: nutrient management practices, water
quality trading, state and district information, and resources developed
by the Chesapeake Bay Program partners. Applicants are encouraged to
review resources that are relevant to their proposals. In addition, this
Resource Clearinghouse provides technical points of contact, who can
further assist potential applicants as they develop their
applications.
Technical Assistance Program for Grantees
The Foundation and its partners are committed to the
success of every grant-funded project. The Chesapeake
Bay Stewardship Fund’s technical assistance program is a
partnership with Chesapeake
NEMO (Network for Education of Municipal Officials) and is meant to
deliver appropriate technical assistance to both Chesapeake NEMO clients
and Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund grantees on an as needed basis.
Nutrient Reduction Techniques
View
information relating to nutrient reduction initiatives in
the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Specific information can be found on the
following topics: best management practices (BMPs), agricultural
practices, riparian forest initiatives, urban stormwater, low impact
development and atmospheric deposition.
Water Quality Trading & Other Market Based Approaches
View a list of U.S. EPA policies and guidance
documents, descriptions of existing trading programs in the Chesapeake
Bay Watershed, relevant literature, and examples of trading
programs/pilots operating outside of the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
State/District Information
View resources for your jurisdiction such as
technical points of contact as well as information on tributary
strategies, water quality monitoring, stormwater, agriculture, riparian
forest and other jurisdictional specific resources.
Chesapeake Bay Program Information
View Chesapeake Bay Program resources relevant to the
Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund application process, including specific
links to information about tributary strategies as well as water quality
modeling and monitoring.
Other Relevant Resources
View a list of other agencies, non-profits,
academic organizations working in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, as well
as inter-jurisdictional agreements, other Chesapeake Bay resource
clearinghouses, reports on the cost of cleanup for the Chesapeake Bay
watershed.
