Logic
Framework Examples
The following examples are of logic frameworks for grants awarded in
the recent past. These examples are intended to help applicants complete
pre-proposals and full proposals in E*Projects. In reviewing the
examples, be aware that pre-proposals do not require as in-depth
discussion of proposed evaluation as occurs if an applicant is invited
to submit a full proposal. While grantees have given permission for the
sharing of the logic frameworks, we request that you respect their
autonomy and not contact them directly for questions and/or comments.
Instead, please direct your correspondence to the NFWF project
administrator overseeing your application. Please also be aware that
additional documents will be produced in the future based on analysis of
awarded grants to date in better specifying outputs, post-project
outcomes and indicators associated with specific types of conservation
activities.
When reviewing the samples, note that the last two columns indicate a
code for each of the projects by "focal area" and "sub-area." The focal
areas relate to strategic priorities in the NFWF Conservation Plan. To learn more about what these
codes signify, please view the area
legend.
