​Corporate Partners

NFWF works with dozens of America’s leading corporations to implement their philanthropic conservation strategies. We collaborate with each partner on goals and actions, investing funds in priority conservation projects that ensure the highest impact. NFWF administers an environmental grant portfolio for each corporate partner, basing awards on sound science and measurable outcomes.

Through partnerships with NFWF, corporations can:

  • Maximize their return on investment and increase their conservation impact through leverage (NFWF typically matches contributions 3:1)
  • Meet their sustainability and corporate social responsibility goals
  • Improve employee morale through volunteer engagement
  • Improve competitiveness in the marketplace
  • Increase their exposure to natural resource agencies
  • Increase their options for corporate involvement in policy issues and engage public interest regarding natural resources sustainability issues.

NFWF's current corporate partners include:

  • The Alcoa/NFWF Biodiversity Initiative funds restoration of fish and wildlife habitat in watersheds of economic and ecological importance.
  • Altria is helping to protect and restore some of the most important ecosystems in the nation, including the Chesapeake Bay, Cumberland Plateau and Columbia River.
  • American Eagle Outfitters supports the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps program, which helps develop the next generation of skilled workers, conservation professionals and engaged citizens.
  • ArcelorMittal supports the Sustain Our Great Lakes program and the Chi-Cal Rivers Fund.
  • Bank of America supports the Five Star and Urban Waters Restoration Program, which focuses on the stewardship and restoration of coastal, wetland, and riparian ecosystems across the country.
  • Bass Pro Shops and Johnny Morris Foundation support the Bring Back the Natives/More Fish program.
  • Bed Bath & Beyond supports marine and coastal programs across the country.
  • BNSF supports community conservation actions in the Great North from North Dakota to Washington State.
  • BP established the Recovered Oil Fund for Wildlife, which supports species imperiled by the 2010 Gulf oil spill.
  • CamelBak supports the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps program, which helps develop the next generation of skilled workers, conservation professionals and engaged citizens.
  • The Coca-Cola Foundation supports the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps program, which helps develop the next generation of skilled workers, conservation professionals and engaged citizens.
  • ConocoPhillips SPIRIT of Conservation Migratory Bird Program conserves threatened birds and their habitats world-wide. Conoco­Phillips in Alaska supports research and conservation.
  • Covanta supports the Fishing for Energy program, which collects and recycles derelict fishing gear from harbors and waterways.
  • CSX supports NFWF's Chesapeake Bay Stewardship Fund, which protects and restores water quality and vital habitats in the Bay watershed.
  • Darden Restaurants supports the Fishery Improvement Partnership Fund, which invests in the sustainability of fisheries that contribute to the U.S. seafood supply.
  • Donlin Gold LLC supports the Alaska Fish and Wildlife Fund that is restoring habitats and building capacity for natural resources conservation in the Arctic, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta and Cook Inlet and its watershed.
  • Edison International supports the restoration and enhancement of natural habitats in central, coastal and southern California.
  • Enbridge supports the National Wildlife Refuge Friends Program in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas and Oklahoma.
  • FedEx's EarthSmart Outreach funds urban conservation in 16 U.S. cities, engaging FedEx team members in restoration projects.
  • International Paper’s partnership with NFWF supports the sustainable management of natural, working and restored forests to benefit wildlife and people.
  • Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation for the Americas is helping to recover endangered sea turtle populations along the Pacific coasts of Central and South America.
  • NOVAGOLD RESOURCES INC supports the Alaska Fish and Wildlife Fund that is restoring habitats and building capacity for natural resources conservation in the Arctic, Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta and Cook Inlet and its watershed.
  • Orvis is helping to support projects that connect fragmented habitats for fish and wildlife species.
  • PG&E’s Nature Restoration Trust program supports riparian, wetland, and coastal habitat restoration in central and northern California.
  • Phillips 66 supports NFWF conservation programs in areas near their major facilities.
  • ​Through its Destination Conservation partnership, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. supports conservation of tropical marine systems throughout the Wider Caribbean.
  • The Shell Marine Habitat Program supports conservation of marine and coastal habitats and species in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska.
  • Southern Company supports critical longleaf pine, riparian, and wetland habitat restoration and the conservation and recovery of bird species characteristic of the South.
  • The North Face and My Morning Jacket have partnered to support the 21st Century Conservation Service Corps program, which helps develop the next generation of skilled workers, conservation professionals and engaged citizens.
  • TradeWind Energy and Enel Green Power have partnered with NFWF to conserve threatened tallgrass prairie in Kansas.
  • Walmart supports the Acres for America program, one of the nation's most effective conservation partnerships, which protects priority wildlife habitat in 33 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
  • Wells Fargo's Environmental Solutions for Communities program supports environmental stewardship in urban, rural and coastal landscapes across the U.S.
  • The Wrigley Company Foundation supports the Chi-Cal Rivers Fund, which awards grants to restore the health, vitality and accessibility of the waterways in the Chicago/Calumet region.
