Life Time Foundation
The Life Time Foundation is supporting NFWF grants to land conservation projects that permanently protect forests. This effort is part of Life Time’s long-standing "Healthy People, Healthy Planet, Healthy Way of Life" mission, and their initial investment will impact two landscape-scale forest projects in Maine and Michigan covering more than 100,000 acres.
The Life Time Foundation, a 501c(3) nonprofit created by Life Time, Inc., is dedicated to inspiring Healthy People, a Healthy Planet, and a Healthy Way of Life. Through financial grants and direct action, we support youth nutrition by helping schools serve wholesome, nourishing, minimally processed food to students; youth movement by championing physical activity programs that get children moving and excited to do so for life; and a healthy planet by supporting forestation and conservation initiatives, so everyone can live healthy, happy lives. Acres for America Program
Walmart’s Acres for America program stands today as the leading public-private land conservation partnership in the United States. The partnership began in 2005, when Walmart and NFWF joined forces to establish Acres for America as a groundbreaking effort to support and catalyze the conservation of lands and wildlife habitat of national significance, and to benefit local communities and local economies.
