The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation supports more than 70 grant programs to protect and restore our nation's wildlife and habitats. We encourage you to read our complete list of conservation programs and review the program goals and guidelines to select the one appropriate for you. You can submit applications online through Easygrants, our grant application and management system.

Who Can Apply

Federal, state, and local governments, educational institutions and nonprofit organizations are welcome to apply for matching grants from our conservation priority programs. For other funding opportunities, application timelines, scope and guidelines vary.

NFWF's Online Grant Application System – Easygrants

Easygrants is a user-friendly system to submit and manage your grant proposals. Through Easygrants, you can:

  • Access pre-proposals and full proposals an unlimited number of times, saving each time, before final submission
  • Update and reuse prior proposals and their contact profile information.
  • Download a PDF version of your proposals for your records.
 

Information on Pre-proposals and Full Proposals

  • Pre-proposal Summary – This is a summary of the information applicants should submit in the Easygrants pre-proposal. It is provided as a resource for applicants not as a template to be completed and submitted. All pre-proposal applications must be submitted electronically in the live Easygrants system.

  • Full Proposal Summary – This is a summary of the information applicants should submit in the Easygrants Full Proposal. It is provided as a resource for applicants, not a template to be completed and submitted. All Full Proposals must be submitted electronically in the live Easygrants system.

  • Mapping Tool Webinar - This is a video explaining how to use the Mapping Tool in Easygrants.
