Description: Employ four youths and involve 20 volunteers in surveying over 6,000 acres of invasive plants, removing approximately 2,000 acres of invasive plants, restoring 50 acres of native plants, and restoring 10 miles of trails at Deschutes National Forest, along the Metolius River and Whychus Creek. Project will introduce students to conservation professionals and careers, educate them on conservation issues in the region, and provide them with skills that may lead to careers in conservation.
