Description: Analyze streamflow improvement alternatives for Deer Creek, an eastside tributary of the Sacramento River in the northern Central Valley and one of the three most important tributaries for Central Valley spring-run Chinook salmon, a federally listed species that has suffered dramatic declines during the recent drought. Project will produce a final preferred streamflow improvement alternative(s) through a structured decision making process involving all options and stakeholders. The final deliverable will be a conceptual plan that can subsequently be taken to design and implementation.

Matching Contribution: $50,200.00
Location: This project is located on private land near Deer Creek, an eastside tributary of the Sacramento River in the northern Central Valley about 20 miles north of Chico, California. The land is owned by members of the Deer Creek Irrigation District, which manages the water rights involved in the project
