Description: Remove non-native brown trout and brook trout on the White Mountain Apache Tribe Reservation lands and surrounding watershed in Arizona to increase the native genetically pure Apache trout populations. Project will conduct fish barrier monitoring, removal of non-native fishes from recovery streams, and population monitoring to have up-to-date population status that can be used to determine if a delisting package should be developed.

Location: The project is located on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation in east-central Arizona.
