Description: Collaborate among partnering agencies and organizations to successfully and cost-effectively increase aquatic connectivity for eastern brook trout and reduce sediment pollution and road-stream crossings across the Chesapeake Bay Watershed in Pennsylvania. Project will open 15 miles of brook trout habitat by replacing three culverts.
Award Amount: $195,418.30
Matching Contribution: $283,260.40
Location: Locations of the culvert surveys, replacement projects, and training workshops are not known at this time. TU and initiative partners will select culvert sites located in NFWF Targeted Rivers and Watersheds and on streams identified by TU's recently completed brook trout conservation portfolio.
