NFWF Grant Profile

Reduce the negative impacts of stormwater runoff from existing impervious surfaces on the surface waters, wetlands, and surrounding riparian floodplain areas, and ultimately improve the water quality of the Paulins Kill Watershed. Project will accelerate the construction of new green infrastructure projects on multiple public school properties in the Town of Newton with the support of local students (K - college) assisting through all aspects of project planning, construction, and maintenance.
