Engage private landowners and land managers in the Hale‘iwa and Waialua communities on North Shore, O'ahu in order to identify and implement conservation practices that will improve habitat for species such as the ‘alae ‘ula by utilizing Farm Bill programs. A management plan for wetland bird habitat enhancement will be developed, which will incorporate effective conservation practices identified.
