Description:

Ten rare plants occur in New Mexico that are threatened by habitat fragmentation and landscape change, and little is known about the pollinators of these plants, let alone the habitat requirements of those plants. Project will, in order to successfully manage for the conservation of these imperiled species, intend to find out what the pollinators are for each of the plants, whether the pollinators are a limiting factor in successful seed set for the plants, and what the resource requirements for the pollinators are, in order to generate management plans for these pollinators.
