NFWF Grant Profile

Trout Unlimited, Inc. will identify, prioritize and develop water transactions in the Methow and Okanogan sub-basins of Washington working in collaboration with the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Project will increase habitat and instream flow in priority tributaries and build capacity for working with agricultural landowners on conservation projects to benefit Pacific salmon, steelhead and their habitat. Instream flow and water temperature is a critical limiting factor in the Methow and Okanogan and all of its critical tributaries which are chronically dewatered.
