Conduct herbicide application to restore 6,000-9,000 acres of brush-invaded dry mixed prairie in northern Hudspeth County, Texas. Project will strategically expand the existing grassland for the greatest net gain of contiguous, usable habitat for grassland obligate species like pronghorn.

Award Amount:
Northern Hudspeth County, Texas, on the dry mixed prairies that constitute a southern extension of Otero Mesa out of New Mexico. The project will occur on the Centerfire, Double U, and Double M Ranches, which are owned by University Lands.
