Description:

Restore habitat for eastern prairie fringed orchid, rusty-patched bumble bees and a suite of grassland- and wetland-dependent birds with the support of volunteers and students in the Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge. The project will remove invasive woody species on 24 acres of wetland and create 26 acres of grassland habitat.
