Description:

Engage community and tribal partners to improve dry prairie, oak savanna, and other habitats through prescribed burning, invasive species control, and seeding to create habitat for monarch butterflies, rusty patched bumble bees, American bumble bees, and other pollinators in the Anoka Sand Plain near the Twin Cities Metro Area in Minnesota. Project will restore 201 acres, improve 902 acres, collect 8 pounds of milkweed seed, develop 50 plans, host 10 events, reach 300 people, and sustain 2 jobs.
