2014 Curriculum for Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge Outreach (ME) The Friends of Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge, Inc. Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge is 5,250 acres of land on a decommissioned Air Force Base, a portion of which was once the largest Cold War nuclear warhead storage area located in Northern Maine. $1,866.10
