2013 Environmental Equity Through Water Pollution Prevention (CA) Esperanza Youth and Family Center The project will be implemented in the cities of Indio, Coachella, Thermal, Oasis, and Mecca and surrounding areas of the Salton Sea region. $50,000.00
2013 Restoring Shorebird Populations on the Eastern Gulf (AL, MS) Conservian, Inc. Coastal beach-nesting bird breeding habitat in Alabama and Mississippi inclusive of all barrier and bay islands supporting project focal species. $100,000.00
2013 Restoring Bear Creek Watershed (CO) Groundwork Denver, Inc. The project will be located in the last eight miles of the Bear Creek watershed, which includes the cities of Denver, Sheridan and Lakewood Colorado. $25,000.00
2013 GPS Data Loggers as a Low-Cost Alternative to Vessel Monitoring Systems (AK) Alaska Longline Fishermen's Association The project will be based in Sitka, Alaska with field testing conducted throughout Southeast Alaska. $110,000.00
2013 Community-based Conservation for Gulf of Mexico Sea Turtles Mote Marine Laboratory, Inc. Sarasota County, Florida is the major rookery for loggerhead turtles in the Gulf of Mexico. The central southwest coast hosts a genetically unique stock of loggerhead turtles. $50,000.00
2013 Demonstration of Sustainable Energy and Water Generation (FL) Florida Gulf Coast University Sub-tropical wetlands with coastal climate. The project will be conducted on the grounds of the Florida Gulf Coast University Solar Park and Visitor Center. $24,712.90
2013 San Luis Valley Engaging Youth in Conservation (CO) Conservation Legacy Projects will be completed throughout Colorado's San Luis Valley in partnership with the BLM at Kerber Creek (near Bonanza, CO) and the Blanca Wetlands (near Alamosa, CO). $72,000.00
