This grant would help fund purchase of a perpetual grassland easement in the Missouri Coteau region of North Dakota. 2010 Risks and Impacts of Crab Fishing Gear on Minke Whales Mingan Island Cetacean Study, Inc. This project will take place within the Mingan Archipelago in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Canada. Many minke whales forage in the island’s shallow water passageways where fishermen set crab traps. $65,000.00
2010 McArthur Lake Wildlife Corridor (ID) The Nature Conservancy The McArthur Lake Wildlife Corridor is located on Hwy 95 in Boundary and Bonner Counties of northern Idaho. It connects the Selkirk and Cabinet-Yaak Mountains linking a million acres of public lands. $500,000.00
