Acres for America in Georgia

Since 2005, Walmart’s Acres for America program has funded projects across the country that protect countless habitats to help to ensure biodiversity and the survival of at-risk species.

In Georgia, the program recently supported The Conservation Fund’s purchase of 2,800 acres, which nearly tripled the size of Amicalola Falls State Park and added to the neighboring Chattahoochee National Forest.

Since its founding in 2005, Walmart’s Acres for America has helped to permanently protect more than 2 million acres of vital wildlife habitat across the United States.
