NFWF has created a pilot program with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) that provides another way for LEED-eligible projects to earn credits for habitat conservation.
Through USGBC’s Pilot Alternative Compliance Path 83, projects can choose to contribute to NFWF to support conservation actions across the country and satisfy LEED certification requirements.
The innovative USGBC/NFWF partnership gives businesses, agencies and organizations seeking LEED certification for their buildings  a new option for earning credits and a meaningful way to contribute to national habitat conservation goals.
