On ground vegetation assessment, seed collection and restoration will be conducted within the Piru fire in Ventura County,CA. GIS analyses will be conducted at UCSB. Greenhouse research will be conducted at UCR and UCSB and methods will be then transferred to degraded habitat within Piru fire.
