Description:

Convert invasive cool-season grass and intensive agriculture to diverse grassland habitats throughout southeast Michigan state game areas to restore biodiversity and improve habitat for nesting birds, native pollinators and other grassland dependent wildlife. Project will restore more than 200 acres and host two youth pollinator habitat workshops to engage 40 5th-grade students from the local area to learn about grasslands, diversity, pollinators and wildlife habitat.
