Increase technical assistance for Farm Bill programs through an established partnership with the Natural Resource Conservation Service to benefit the Working Lands for Wildlife Shorebirds of Louisiana Initiative. Project will enhance approximately 20,000 acres of ricelands through implementation of best management practices and provide critical habitat for Louisiana shorebirds and other species that benefit from working wetlands.
