Enhance public education to 5,000 people about flooding and water quality challenges and how these problems affect Long Island Sound working in partnership with community organizations; and support residents and businesses to add 30 green buffer plantings totaling 6,300 sq. ft. to filter pollution from lands near waterways flowing to the sound, Bridgeport, Connecticut. Project will educate people actions they can take to improve the environment of their community and the sound.
