NFWF Grant Profile

Summit Lake is a remote, relatively small, shallow, high-desert, terminal lake at the north end of the Black Rock Range in northwestern Nevada. The surrounding ecosystem is primarily sagebrush steppe containing key species such as mule deer, antelope, Lahontan cutthroat trout, and sage grouse.
