2011 Oyster Restoration in the Gulf of Mexico The Nature Conservancy Oyster reef restoration projects will be completed in two Gulf states: Louisiana and Alabama. Scientific monitoring will be completed on constructed reefs. $1,100,000.00
2011 Catch Share New Entry System: Permit Bank and Sector Synergy Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries This project will involve the Northeast Coastal Communities Sector and a permit bank. Sector members hail from central and eastern Maine, and southern Massachusetts. $185,000.00
2011 Socioeconomic Monitoring in Verde Island Passage, Philippines Conservation International Foundation Verde Island Passage in the northern Philippines is located within the globally significant Coral Triangle, an area considered the center of the world’s marine biodiversity. $29,986.52
2011 Blackfoot Watershed Restoration for Yellowstone Cutthroat (ID) Trout Unlimited, Inc. Idaho’s Blackfoot River watershed lies just east of Pocatello, and contains 350 miles of streams that drain roughly 700,000 acres before ultimately joining the Snake River at the town of Blackfoot. $145,000.00
2011 Estuary Entry and Habitat Use by Native Anadromous Salmonids (CA) Sonoma County Water Agency Russian River mainstem, estuary, and coho-bearing tributaries. $59,760.00
2011 Boardman River Fish Passage Restoration (MI) Conservation Resource Alliance Boardman River Watershed, Grand Traverse County, northern Lower Michigan. Land ownership of impoundments and dam owners are City of Traverse City and Grand Traverse County; no private or federal land. $1,150,000.00
2011 Gros Ventre Fish Passage Improvement (WY) Trout Unlimited, Inc. The Newbold Diversion structure in the Gros Ventre River is located near the town of Kelly, Wyoming, which is approximately 5 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming. $20,000.00
