The project is anticipated to expand to the Vermilion-Illinois River Watershed (centered on Livingston County) and to at least one other Illinois watershed. $120,001.99

2016 Expanding the Channeled Scablands Cooperative Weed Management Area for Greater Sage Grouse (WA) Lincoln County Conservation District Project will be conducted within the boundaries of the Channeled Scablands CWMA within portions of Spokane, Lincoln and Whitman Counties in Washington state. The CWMA boundary will be extended north to include portions of Lincoln County that contain several 1000 acres of sage grouse habitat. $74,901.74

2016 Monitoring Shorebirds in the Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge (AK) - II Manomet, Inc. The Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge is one of the highest density shorebird nesting areas in the North American arctic, but landscape scale surveys have never been conducted there. We propose to survey the entire Refuge, including all federal lands suitable for shorebirds. $95,394.70
2016 Shorebirds in Alaska Native Cultures: Subsistence Harvest Estimates and Local and Traditional Knowledge Alaska Department of Fish and Game Shorebird harvest estimates will be provided for the whole state of Alaska, with emphasis on the Yukon-Kuskokwim region. Ethnographic research and outreach activities will occur in the Yukon-Kuskokwim region in western Alaska. $68,489.38
2016 Georgia Shorebird Alliance Red Knot, American Oystercatcher and Whimbrel Conservation Efforts Georgia Department of Natural Resources Work will take place at a number of locations from Tybee Island in the North to Cumberland Island in the south. Focal areas include St Catherine's, Little St Simons and Little Cumberland Islands, Gould’s Inlet, Little Tybee Natural Area and a number of offshore bars and spits. $72,317.81
