2016 Kinsey Run Stream Restoration and Fish Blockage Removal Project Friends of the Rappahannock The project is located in an unincorporated community called Graves Mill in Madison County, Virginia. Kinsey Run runs parallel to State Route 615 otherwise known as Bluff Mountain Road. $193,082.80
2016 Black Duck Decision Support Tool Implementation Project Ducks Unlimited, Inc. This pilot project will be implemented across a multi-county focus area on the eastern shores of Maryland and Virginia. Using the Black Duck Decision Support Tool to guide the selection of properties funded will ensure that only the highest quality black duck habitats are preserved as a part of this $199,830.40
2016 Gulf Coast Prescribed Fire Mentoring Program for Underserved Youth The Nature Conservancy The project will station youth in six locations across the five Gulf states. The youth will actively work in seven Significant Geographic Areas or Significant Sites for Longleaf Pine, two designations established in the Rangewide Conservation Plan for Longleaf, as shown on the accompanying map. $499,627.24
