2015 Evaluating, Implementing, and Communicating the Opportunities to use Grazing as a Management Tool to Maximize Habitat for Wetland and Grassland Dependent Birds in Nebraska’s Rainwater Basin Nebraska Community Foundation FBO Rainwater Basin Joint Venture The Rainwater Basin is the focal point of the Central Flyway. During spring migration the Central Flyway constricts through this 6,100 square mile landscape in south-central Nebraska. This landscape corresponds to the Nebraska portion of the Central Loess Plains Major Land Resource Area. $180,795.00
2015 Integrating Science and Habitat Delivery Capacity to Strategically Advance Grassland Bird Conservation Across the Great Plains (MT, CO) Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory dba Bird Conservancy of the Rockies Scientific efforts will occur in the Hi-Line area of Montana (Valley Co.) where Sprague’s Pipit and Baird’s Sparrow are most abundant. The biologist/range ecologist will focus on Fergus, Petroleum and Garfield counties in central Montana where there are gaps in habitat delivery capacity. $200,000.00
2015 Deep Blue (MD) Blue Water Baltimore, Inc. The proposed neighborhoods fall in all four of the City’s watersheds. They are: Mondawmin (Gwynns Falls), Belair-Edison (Herring Run), Baltimore Highlands (Baltimore Harbor-East), Cherry Hill (Lower North Branch of the Patapsco), and Oliver (Jones Falls/Baltimore). $500,000.00

2015 Comprehensive Watershed Conservation in Agriculture and Livestock Landscapes of Rockingham County (VA) Trout Unlimited, Inc. The conservation activities of this project will take place in Rockingham County, VA in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Emphasis will be placed on implementing agriculture best management practices in high priority subwatersheds within the county. $239,918.59

2015 Kansas City Metropolitan Area Monarch Butterfly Conservation: A Multi-Sector Partnership (KS,MO) Burroughs Audubon of Greater Kansas City Project will be in the Kansas City Greater Metropolitan area. KC metropolitan area includes 15 counties and extends on both sides of the state line- Kansas and Missouri. Focus counties will be Platte, Clay, Jackson and Cass county in Missouri and Johnson County, KS. $228,106.54
