2014 Restoring Seabird Breeding Habitat on Kure Atoll - II Hawaii Division of Forestry and Wildlife Kure is the westernmost atoll in the Hawaiian archipelago and is the State of Hawaii’s most significant seabird sanctuary. Green Island, the only permanent island, is 3.5 miles in circumference. $650,000.00
