Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program

The community of Bethel Alaska depends on natural resources for their livelihood. The Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP) is a STEM program that engages students in hands-on science activities which focus  on the conservation of the natural resources that their communities depend on for their long-term survival. The program also introduces the students to U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service experts in the region and encourages them to consider further study of conservation science and even a possible career supporting conservation in Alaska.
