Since 2005, NFWF has partnered with Walmart through the Acres for America program to conserve critical habitats, connect existing protected lands to unify wild places and protect migration routes, provide access for people to enjoy the outdoors, and ensure the future of local economies that depend on forestry, ranching and recreation.

To date, we’ve worked to conserve an amazing 2.1 million acres! To learn more and to see some of the amazing results of this program, check out our storymap highlighting this work.
