Established in 2015, the Fund is catalyzing efforts to improve the quality, quantity and connectivity of habitat for monarch butterflies and other at-risk pollinators. In its first five years, the Fund has focused on planting milkweed and other nectar plants, providing technical assistance to private landowners, and improving coordination and capacity to help reverse population declines of these important species.
