Through a focused partnership, Capri Holdings and NFWF are accelerating the adoption of regenerative ranching practices and improved management on grazing lands in the Northern Great Plains, Southern Great Plains and the Intermountain West. Through this partnership, NFWF and Capri are working with ranchers and local organizations to implement voluntary management practices designed to improve the productivity of grazing lands and water management, restore wildlife habitat, and generate carbon benefits to help meet Capri’s sustainability commitments. Improving the health of the nation’s grasslands offers a win-win-win opportunity to strengthen the leather-goods supply chain, increase rancher profitability, and create significant benefits for natural habitat and biodiversity.
Rocky Mountain Rangelands Program
Working closely and on a voluntary basis with private landowners, the Rocky Mountain Rangelands Program conserves and restores habitat for wildlife adapted to harsh climates that often require large open spaces to sustain their populations.
