The Coca-Cola Company helped launch the Grassland Resilience and Conservation Initiative in partnership with McDonald’s, NFWF and key beef suppliers to conserve water resources, enhance wildlife habitat and improve soil health. The Coca-Cola Company joined McDonald’s to help launch the Grassland Resilience and Conservation Initiative in 2025. The Initiative aims to help conserve water resources, enhance wildlife habitats and improve soil health. Coca-Cola understands that supporting agricultural initiatives like this one creates a nexus for solutions on interrelated issues, like water security, climate resilience and emissions reduction, key priorities for Coca-Cola. The Initiative aims to support large-scale, voluntary conservation and grazing management practices on 4 million acres of grasslands across most of the United States. Key strategies that ranchers will be expected to adopt include the protection and restoration of water resources and habitats crucial to both wildlife and ranching operations.

Grassland Resilience and Conservation Initiative
In partnership with McDonald’s USA, some of its key beef and beverage suppliers and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) has launched a landmark conservation initiative to support large-scale, voluntary conservation and grazing management practices on grasslands across the United States.
