Marathon Pipe Line
Marathon Pipe Line supports the Monarch Butterfly and Pollinators Conservation Fund, which has improved more than 430,000 acres of pollinator habitat since 2015.
Marathon Pipe Line and NFWF began working together to improve the quality, quantity, and connectivity of pollinator habitat through the Monarch Butterfly and Pollinators Conservation Fund in 2025. The program creates and sustains interconnected pollinator habitat across the eastern and western flyways of the monarch butterfly. To date, the program has improved more than 430,000 acres of pollinator habitat. This conservation partnership supports NFWF’s efforts to conduct habitat improvement for pollinators at a landscape scale and provide technical assistance for private working lands.
Monarch Butterfly and Pollinators Conservation Fund
The Monarch Butterfly and Pollinators Conservation Fund supports work that advances the conservation of the monarch butterfly and other at-risk native insect pollinators. Originally named the Monarch Butterfly Conservation Fund, the fund added the term ‘Pollinators’ to its title in 2018 to reflect an increased focus on a broader set of priority species.
