PepsiCo supports projects that invest in regenerative agriculture on farms across the Midwestern United States. These investments support PepsiCo’s Positive Agriculture agenda which includes supporting the adoption of regenerative, restorative, or protective practices across 10 million acres by 2030. PepsiCo provides funding for NFWF’s Conservation Partners Program, which supports farmers to adopt farming practices that can improve soil health while also improving habitat for fish and wildlife.

PepsiCo and NFWF began working together in 2025 to accelerate the implementation of conservation practices that support regenerative agriculture on working lands. These projects aim to help farmers improve soil health and water quality while also enhancing habitat for fish and wildlife in the Great Plains. Through this partnership, NFWF provides technical assistance to farmers in areas that supply ingredients for PepsiCo products. The collaboration supports agricultural management principles that can be utilized to improve local ecosystem health and increase resilience. Examples of conservation actions that are supported through these grants include the use of no-till or reduced tillage practices to minimize soil disturbance, and the use of cover crops to keep the soil covered and reduce erosion.
