Lila Helms to Join National Fish and Wildlife Foundation

​Washington, July 9, 2013 – National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF) announces the appointment of Lila Helms as Executive Vice President, External Affairs.

Helms brings more than 20 years’ experience on Capitol Hill to her new position. She has served on the Senate Appropriations Committee, as Clerk of the Legislative Branch subcommittee, and as Clerk of the Commerce, Justice and State Appropriations subcommittee. She was also Deputy Staff Director and Policy Director for the Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee.

Helms has also held assignments with the Oceans and Fisheries Subcommittee and the Subcommittee for Science and Technology. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
