2013 Every Halibut Counts: Reducing Halibut Discard Mortality (AK) Alaska Marine Conservation Council Project focus is on top ports for recreational halibut harvest and discards in both southeast and southcentral Alaska stretching from Craig to Kodiak. Marine area of focus is the Gulf of Alaska. $55,000.00
2013 Fostering Native Plants and Young Environmental Stewards (TX) - II REAL School Gardens Exact schools are to-be-determined through our formal application process but will be located in one of five North Texas school districts: Dallas, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Arlington, or Birdville. $38,400.00
2013 Community Volunteer Habitat Restoration Program (CA) Back to Natives Restoration, Inc. Santiago Park Nature Reserve in Santa Ana, CA and locations within the Clevelend National Forest (Trabuco Ranger District) in CA. $25,000.00
2013 Escalante Watershed Restoration (UT) Grand Staircase Escalante Partners Project location: Garfield County, Escalante Watershed, Southern Utah, within Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, and adjacent private land, managed by Boulder Community Alliance. $95,000.00
2013 Persimmon Branch Wetlands Enhancement (AL) Troy University Janice Hawkins Park is located on Troy University’s Campus in Troy,Alabama; Section 32 and 33 of Township-10-North, Range-21-East; 31° 48' 06" N and 85° 57' 37" W. $20,500.00
2013 Stream Restoration in the Cattaraugus Territory (NY) The Seneca Nation of Indians The Cattaraugus Territory is located along the Cattaraugus Creek in WNY, main tributary to Lake Erie, with over 56 miles of streams and creeks and 22,011 acres located solely in the Great Lakes Basin. $35,112.80
2013 Whooping Crane Reintroduction to Southeastern U.S. - III Operation Migration-USA The reintroduction site is White River Marsh SWA in Green Lake Co., WI. Beginning late Sept-mid-Oct young cranes will be guided along a migration route covering WI, IL, KY, TN, AL, GA & FL. $189,214.34
