Shell USA and NFWF began working together in 1998 to conserve priority habitats and species in the communities where Shell USA lives and operates. Over the past two decades, more than 350 projects funded by Shell and other sponsors have generated more than $160 million in on-the-ground conservation impact, supporting the protection, restoration and management of over 220,000 acres across the United States, and improving monitoring and management of key species in ecosystems nationwide.

Today, through the Shell Marine & Wildlife Habitat Program, the company supports the following programs: Central Appalachia Habitat Stewardship Program, Killer Whale Conservation Program, Monarch Butterfly and Pollinators Conservation Fund, National Coastal Resilience Fund, and the Pecos Watershed Conservation Initiative. Shell USA also supports investments to reduce threats to North Atlantic right whales and other marine life off the coast of New England.

Shell USA also supports the Partnerships in Conservation video series.
