2016 Horse Creek Wood Loading Project (CA) Mid Klamath Watershed Council The project is located in Horse Creek from mile 1.7 to mile 3.1 from its confluence with the Klamath River. The project is located in Siskiyou County, California, near the town of Horse Creek on Highway 96. $99,428.15
2016 Restoration and Resilience of Endemic Bigcone Douglas-fir after the 2007 Zaca Fire University of California - Berkeley The study area includes the region burned in the Zaca fire and the landscape surrounding the fire perimeter (occurred in 2007, largely in Santa Barbara County, California). $102,940.09
2016 Restoring Endangered Butterfly Habitat and Engaging Youth through Restoration Efforts (CA) Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy Surrounded by urban development, Milagra Ridge forms what biologists call an island ecosystem. Despite this isolation, Milagra Ridge hosts a surprising number of threatened and endangered species including Mission blue butterflies. Oceana High School and Nursery are adjacent to the site. $32,791.00
2016 Red-cockaded Woodpecker Private Lands Conservation Initiative (SC) The Longleaf Alliance, Inc. Six(6)properties are available as recipient populations. Properties will be prioritized using "conservation value" criteria. Based on results of that analysis, 2-5 properties will be selected to receive birds. Properties are all in the Coastal Plain of South Carolina. $109,644.59
2016 Increasing Capacity for Longleaf Pine Restoration and Management in the Okefenokee/Osceola Landscape (GA, FL) The Nature Conservancy Project is located in southeastern Georgia and northeastern Florida. The area is largely comprised of four significant publicly owned areas, the Osceola National Forest (FL), John Bethea State Forest (FL), Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge (FL and GA) and Dixon Memorial State Forest (GA). $299,999.99
