2011 Catch Share New Entry System: Permit Bank and Sector Synergy Maine Center for Coastal Fisheries This project will involve the Northeast Coastal Communities Sector and a permit bank. Sector members hail from central and eastern Maine, and southern Massachusetts. $185,000.00
2011 Derelict Lobster Gear Assessment, Removal, and Prevention (NY) - II Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County This project will take place in the Long Island Sound adjacent to the ports of Mount Sinai and Mattituck. $49,969.00
2011 Conservation of Shorebirds in the Gulf Region Manomet, Inc. The training workshops project will be implemented in all of the Gulf coast states. The conservation of AMOY and PIPL will be implemented in coastal states between MA and NJ. $647,861.00
2011 Restoring Eastern Brook Trout to the Upper Connecticut River (NH, VT) Trout Unlimited, Inc. The projects proposed for funding are located on the Upper Connecticut River and its tributaries in Coos County, New Hampshire and Essex County, Vermont. $55,240.00
2011 Eliminating Massive Algal Blooms in the Lafayette River (VA) The Elizabeth River Project The project location is the Lafayette River, a sub-watershed of the Elizabeth River. 2011 Implementing NRCS Practices to Benefit the Golden-winged Warbler Indiana University of Pennsylvania Research Institute We will concentrate our habitat implementation efforts on private lands within 3 GWWA focal areas in PA. Conservation planners will be housed in the most logistically located NRCS county offices. $191,381.00
