NFWF Announces $15.7 Million for Gulf Restoration Projects in Florida

Projects funded as a part of initial investment of funds derived from settlement of criminal charges against BP and Transocean

WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov.

Southeast Michigan Resilience Fund

The Southeast Michigan Resilience Fund is a public-private partnership that improves natural habitats and resources for the benefit of communities, fish and wildlife in Southeast Michigan by reducing the impact of stormwater, improving water quality, and increasing the accessibility and usability of public green space and natural areas. These actions help communities prepare for changing environmental stressors, including loss of habitat, invasive species, nonpoint source pollution and other factors.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife

Colorado Parks and Wildlife​ supports RESTORE Colorado, a program that funds at-scale habitat restoration and stewardship projects on public and private conservation lands in Colorado that have the greatest benefit for wildlife and local communities.

Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation

The Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation supports NFWF’s Colorado River Delta Restoration Fund and other Raise the River partner organizations.

Southern Company

Southern Company supports conservation programs primarily across the southeastern United States, but also beyond in support of at-risk species recovery and both landscape-scale and community-based stewardship efforts.

Gates Family Foundation

The Gates Family Foundation supports the RESTORE Colorado Program, which was established to fund large-scale restoration and stewardship projects across several habitat priorities in Colorado.
