NFWF's Apache Trout initiative aims to increase the abundance and distribution of Apache trout in the U.S.

AstraZeneca

AstraZeneca supports the restoration of horseshoe crab populations in Delaware Bay, as well as migrating shorebirds like the red knot that rely on horseshoe crab eggs. AstraZeneca also partners with NFWF to plant and sustain one million trees in the United States to increase carbon storage, improve water quality and restore wildlife habitats.

Colorado Water Conservation Board

The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has collaborated with NFWF in the ReStORE Colorado Program (Restoration and Stewardship of Outdoor Resources and the Environment). ReStORE establishes funding contributed by multiple partners to fund large restoration projects to improve habitat in Colorado.

TransRe

TransRe supports the National Coastal Resilience Fund as it restores natural infrastructure to strengthen and protect coastal communities, and also enhances habitats for fish and wildlife.

Bonneville Power Administration

Bonneville Power Administration supports a regional initiative to improve river and stream flows in the Columbia Basin.

Gulf Environmental Benefit Fund

In early 2013, a U.S. District Court approved two plea agreements resolving certain criminal cases against BP and Transocean which arose from the 2010 Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill. The agreements directed a total of $2.544 billion to NFWF to fund projects benefiting the natural resources of the Gulf Coast that were impacted by the spill.
